In 2004, Specialized Engineering transferred ownership of the Company to the employees via an Employee Stock Ownership Plan. Extending the ownership to the employees serves two purposes; the Specialized Engineering ESOP offers the opportunity for employee-owners to build up a significant retirement savings while also giving our employees a personal stake in the success of the Company.
