Monocacy Boulevard

This project consisted of approximately 1.5 miles of two/four lane roadway and associated water crossings. The Central Section project includes roadway construction from Hughes Ford Road to Schifferstadt Boulevard with a 285 linear foot, three arch concrete structure crossing at Carroll Creek, five storm water management (SWM) facilities and a WWTP access road. The Phase II portion continues Northbound to Gas House Pike with a 525 linear foot, three span steel girder structure with concrete deck crossing the Monocacy River, a five-barrel culvert crossing and an approximate 300 linear foot retaining wall along Carroll Creek as well as rehabilitation of the existing bridge.

Specialized Engineering provided geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, construction management, and utility inspections for the project.
