Position: Geotechnical Engineer, P.E. Description: Currently seeking a Geotechnical Engineer, P.E. with experience in environmental consulting and construction materials testing, managing subsurface investigations and soil testing, performing analyses related to the design of foundations, earth retaining structures, embankments, and pavements. Complete engineering analysis and report preparation for transportation, commercial, residential, institutional and industrial projects. Candidate will be expected to participate in proposal preparation, marketing, project management and other engineering related activities. Management position will entail supervision and direction of branch associates and administrative functions for business office located in Ranson, West Virginia. ● BSCE required ● Minimum 5 years experience in Geotechnical Engineering desired. ● Professional Registration, (P.E.) in the state of West Virginia, Virginia and Maryland, or the ability to obtain this registration within three months is a must. ● Ability to market geotechnical services; must possess in-depth knowledge of the technical elements of geotechnical and CMT, project and financial management. ● Outstanding oral and written communication skills. ● Strong client commitment and focus a must. ● Physical demands to include lifting up to a 30 pound load. ● Must pass drug screen, background check, possess a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record in accordance with our driving (MVR) policy.
