Position: Laboratory Technicians, FT/PT Description: Exciting opportunity to join Specialized Engineering’s growing team of engineering professionals as an experienced or entry-level Laboratory Materials Technician testing Asphalt, Aggregate, Soils and Concrete. Positions available with flexible schedules, full and part time at our offices in greater Frederick and Baltimore, Maryland. Primary responsibilities include the preparation of test specimens, performing various test procedures using appropriate test equipment, and recording results. Successful candidates will possess outstanding attention to detail, will be required to read and understand data, and will properly document collected information. Prior experience and ACI/NICET/Superpave certifications are a plus, but not required. ● Outstanding oral and written communication skills. ● Strong client commitment and focus a must. ● Physical demands to include lifting up to a 30 pound load. ● Must pass drug screen, background check, possess a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record in accordance with our driving (MVR) policy.
